She sees law as an agent of change. This belief is reflected in the courses that she designs and the work that she does. She designed the first Integrative Law Course. She works in legal academia, and both corporate and non-profit sectors. Among her many projects, she works with the Umgeni Community Empowerment Centre to fight against human trafficking and gender-based violence.
